Positive Signs + Print is a locally-owned, family-run business, established in 2009. We have 6 humans and one CEO, our Chief Eating Officer Jed. This Good Boy is on hand for free pats and will not say no to leftovers.
In 2019 Amanda & Craig Cookson purchased Positive Signs. Amanda was a part time employee and long-time customer, with her existing business Be My Guest Design. The two businesses operate side by side, with Positive Signs serving a B2B market and Be My Guest focusing on B2C.
In 2022 we shifted to our current location at 167a Gordon Road, Mosgiel. Doubling our footprint and moving to a ground floor location meant better access for vehicles and larger signs, plus more room for bigger printing equipment. Moving next door to a coffee shop was a lucky coincidence…
2023 was the culmination of 3 years of hardwork and perseverance: Ruth and Anna completed their apprenticeships to become trade qualified printers, and Amanda completed the signmaking apprenticeship to become a trade qualified signwriter.
