The Grange Lifecare
Wayfinding, Window Graphics & Dimensional Signage
The Grange Lifecare required a cohesive signage and wayfinding system across their new retirement village development, including dimensional lettering, glazing manifestations, decorative frosting, room identification signage and external signage.
The project needed to balance the practical requirements of a healthcare environment with the softer, more residential feel the client wanted to create throughout the village. Many signage elements were also required for compliance and audit purposes, meaning accuracy and consistency were essential throughout the rollout.
Our Approach
Because the project was staged across multiple areas, we developed a signage system that could be rolled out consistently as construction progressed.
We worked from supplied plans, site visits and existing brand guidelines to create signage that felt refined and understated, while still remaining highly functional for residents, staff and visitors. Materials and finishes were carefully selected to reduce glare, improve durability and suit the residential environment.
Decorative frosting designs were customised specifically for the space, drawing inspiration from interior finishes and wallpaper details already used throughout the village. This helped soften large glazed areas and create continuity throughout the development.

The Result

By carefully balancing functionality with aesthetics, the signage integrated naturally into the development while still meeting the practical requirements of a busy healthcare and retirement facility.
